What is Kitmiky?
Kitmiky is a purified minerally balanced drinking water manufactured by Kitmiky Springs, a subsidiary of Salsbury Enterprise Ltd headquartered in Nairobi.
Where is Kitmiky?
Kimtiky Springs bottling plant is located near the legendary Kitmiky Stones at Holo, Kisumu west Sub County, Kisumu County, Kenya. Kitmikayi stones formation is historically marveled by the local community and feature of tourist attraction. The kitmiky bottled water is extracted from water acquas beneath the rocks some 200 meters below the ground surface. The site is 25km from Kisumu City on Kisumu-Bondo to Usenge Road at Holo, which is 10km from the largest fresh water lake, Lake Victoria.
Why Kitmiky?
The extracted underground water has been tested by Kenya Bureau of Standards and found to be rich in vital minerals and low contents of harmful ones such as fluorides. It can thus be used directly. However, to add value we purify the water by chlorinating it, filter, balance the mineral content by reverse osmosis process and finally expose it to ultra violet light for bacterial elimination. The resultant purified water is very safe and tasty. The water is tested regularly by KEBS and Public Health Department of Kisumu County.
As part of our community outreach we work with the Kisumu county to supply purified mineral water to Nyangoma technical school
